India play for free in Asia Cup and distribute share to other teams including Pakistan

Former India player and one of the leading commentators, Aakash Chopra, has given a befitting reply to PCB.

In the recent tweet by PCB Chairman, Ehsan Mani, he said that the relations between PCB and BCCI have been improving for a few weeks and there is hope for friendly matches to be played in the near future.

There are many reasons why Pakistan is not willing to host Team India. The foremost one being the political tensions that are always high between these two countries. Apart from that, there are also cricketing differences of opinion too on a number of issues. This problem has been compounded by the fact that many Indian players have not played at all in Pakistan since 2007 or 2008.

Reacting to threats and accusations, Aakash said that India don’t charge a single penny for the Asia Cup and distribute its share among other countries including Pakistan.

“Big brother India play for free in the Asia Cup and distribute the share to other countries including Pakistan. This has been happening for years,” he said.

Chopra further said that the 2023 Asia Cup will definitely move out of Pakistan and the sub-continent country will visit India for the World Cup.

“I can give you in writing that Asia Cup will be played outside Pakistan. Also, the Men in Green will visit India to participate in the 2023 World Cup.”

Babar Azam on Shaheen Shah Afridi’s injury being the turning point of T20 World Cup final: It cost us a different result

Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of the most respected cricketers in Pakistan and quite competent with the ball. So when he got injured before the last over, it came as a major blow for Pakistan and cost them the game. Afridi was playing well and bowling well- just like he always does. He has been instrumental in winning many games for Pakistan and is a very popular player as well. Pakistan had almost won the game but when Afridi got hit, they could not go on with their plan of defense and lost to Australia after completing 20 overs. This was one of the most memorable moments in the World Cup final. One of the key players for Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, had to leave the field for a brief period after being hit by a ball.   Babar Azam said that the injury to Shaheen Shah Afridi was the turning point of T20 World Cup final. He added that it cost us a different result. We should be proud of our team because they did their best in the final. Babar Azam said that he is deeply di...

Shreyas Iyer to Ishan Kishan: Didn't want to intrude on your 'beast mode'

The batter reflects on his second hundred in ODIs, which helped India level the series against South Africa. Shreyas Iyer  is enjoying a purple patch, with four half-centuries and a hundred in his last six ODI innings. That's some unreal form in different conditions: from the bounce of the red-soil surface in Ahmedabad, to the sluggish pitches in the Caribbean, and biscuit-brown Ranchi. His latest innings in Ranchi   on Sunday   was only his second century in ODIs, and a special one because it helped India draw level in the series against South Africa. Iyer is just 32-ODIs old but he already has an impressive body of work. He averages 47.07 in 28 innings, striking at 98.07 - numbers that would merit selection even in a full-strength Indian XI. It's the kind of consistency India have yearned for from someone who can bat at No. 4 in ODIs, especially since the 2019 World Cup where the absence of a strong batter in that position came under intense scrutiny after their ...
