India Schedule For ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. India is gearing up for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 which will take place in October-November this year. BCCI is also soon going to announce the India squad for the tournament.

After a poor show in Asia Cup 2022 where India failed to reach the finals, India will aim for a better show in T20 World Cup 2022. Notably, India faced a humiliating first-round exit in T20 World Cup 2021 last year. Hence, this time, they wish to make a comeback in the tournament.


The ICC T20 Cup 2022 will commence on October 16 with the qualifier round. The venue of the tournament is Australia. India will play their opening match against Pakistan on october 23. India is one of the 8 teams that have already qualified for the super 12 round.

India is part of Group 2 in T20 World Cup 2022. In the super 12 round, there are two groups- Group 1 and Group 2. India is part of group 2 along with teams like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa. Two more teams will also join the group later.

In the other group 1, there are teams like Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and England. Two more teams will join the group later. During the super 12 round, each team will play one match against other members of the group. Hence, each team will play a total of 5 matches.

The top two teams in the points table in each group after the group stage will qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will lock horns in the final. Below we take a look at India’s schedule for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
